Head on the right of the Republic, wearing a Liberty cap; below (date) and signature L. BAZOR. Rv. LIBERTE / EGALITE / FRATERNITE. Within a composite wreath formed of a branch of laurel and a branch of oak, with ears of corn, olives and central bunch of grapes: 5 / FRANCS; with ESSAI to the right of the 5. GEM.134.6 - Maz.- (cf. 2559a) - VG.- ; Nickel - 6,54 g - 24 mm - 12 h Top Pop: the most beautiful graded example! PCGS SP64 (60811419). Special strike (SP). On a magnetic nickel blank. The edge is grooved (not fluted) with a groove formed by a long line followed by seven groups of three small squares, repeated twice. Barely rubbed on the right side. Rare. Superb at Fleur de coin.
