Special strike (SP). Barely oxidised and cleaned surfaces. With a golden patina in formation. Superb.
According to Mazard "This test was carried out with a view to the use of aluminium bronze. The Commission issued an unfavourable opinion". This test is by Pillet, with the recumbent beam surmounted by a bonnet of Liberty that will be found on his 3rd test for the 1913 competition.
