FRANCE - FRANCE Second Empire / Napoleon III (1852-1870). Test of 5 francs tête laurée, without mintmark 1862, Paris. Av. NAPOLEON III - EMPEROR. Head laureate left, below signature BARRE and (bee). Rv. FRENCH EMPIRE. Imperial arms posed on a crowned mantle and broaching on the sceptre and the hand of justice, accosted by 5 - F; below (bee) (date) (anchor). G.739 - Maz.1648 - VG.3623 ; Silver - 24.9 g - 37 mm - 6 h PCGS AU50 (59842651). Barre test without workshop letter, with bee on right and reverse. Regular wear, with circulation marks, this test seems to have been circulated. Grey patina with bluish and golden highlights. VERY GOOD CONDITION.
