Within a wreath formed of two branches: 5 / FRANCS / ESSAI. G.1001 - Maz.1626 ? (or 1625) - VG.3417 (16,2 mm) ; Gold - 16,2 mm - 6 h Top Pop: the only graded example! PCGS SP61 (59882292). Special strike (SP) with fluted edge. Only minimal marks in the fields. Slight patina on the original gloss. A rare item. Superb at Fleur de coin. This test exists in two diameters of 17.2 or 16.2 according to Guilloteau; Mazard speaks of 16.4 and 16.2 mm, with a smaller effigy (but his 1626a is with the different ones).
