Not referenced by Taillard et Arnaud, this set contains one coin of each of the 1 franc to 1 centime coin types of the Fifth Republic, in the year of their first issue. It includes the 50 centimes Marianne 1962, replaced in 1965 by the 1/2 franc Semeuse, and the 5 centimes épi 1962, replaced in 1966 by the 5 centimes Marianne. The certificates, dated February 1967 and all bearing the same number 86, state that "the special coins used to mint these coins were crossed out [...] on 28 February 1967". Although a maximum of 500 copies of each of these tokens were struck in 1967, this is the first set of this type that we have seen. In 1968, and from 1971 until 1992, the Monnaie de Paris marketed complete sets of the current year's coinage.
