FRANCE - FRANCE Fifth Republic (1958 to the present day). Trial of a trimetallic 10 franc "Montesquieu" blank with ND balance wheel (c.1996), Pessac. FRENCH REPUBLIC / MONTESQUIEU. Bust of Montesquieu right; below rosette of the engraving workshop. Rv. (horn) MONETARY FRAPPING TRIAL. Perspective view of the Droz balance wheel. G.- - GEM.- - Gad. Euros - ; Cupro-nickel - 6.54 g - 22.7 mm - 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded example! NGC MS 64 (8583601-024). Smooth edge with five series of ridges of 12 teeth each. In the module and weight of the 10 francs Montesquieu but the reverse is later: it is therefore certainly a trimetallic proof in bronze-aluminium and nickel, with central stud (orange-coloured, copper?). Unpublished and unrecorded. Minimal fingerprints and a small stain. Corner flower.
