A carved marble portrait bust presumed of Louis XIV, French, 19th century A similar marble bust known as a portrait d'homme or Louis XIV is in the Musée du Louvre (CH M 43; M 0048). A similar bust from the collection of Count and Countess Volpi di Misurata - Palazzo Volpi was sold on 28 February 2024, Sotheby's Paris, lot 21 (€19,050). *Information for buyers: The auction is exclusive of VAT.
