FRANCK NOTO F60NCV, 2022 Mixed media on linen canvas 130 x 97 cm Gift of the artist Franck Noto is a self-taught artist born in Montpellier. At the age of 15, he came face to face with the first graffiti and tags of a pioneering generation. Later, he made his mark with the huge frescoes he created with the TDM crew in the early 2000s between New York and European capitals. Today, his work is moving towards abstraction and the decomposition of movement. The layering, thickness, shape and nature of layers of colour echo the covering process typical of graffiti.
