Frankfurt lidded vase with Chinoiserie faience, light paste blue glaze. Octagonal baluster shape with body divided by vertical mouldings, short neck, bell-shaped lid. Rich, almost all-over, multi-figure scenic decoration painted in light cobalt blue with Chinese figures in a landscape, the foot and shoulder decorated with hangings and leaves. Lid probably added or restored; h. 40 cm.
