(Paris), Imprimerie Eugène Verneau, (ca 1902 - 1903). Lithographic print on paper on zinc roll. Impressively illustrated lithographic series by the famous Parisian illustrator and poster designer Francisque Poulbot (1879-1946), whose illustrative patriotic commitment during the First World War led to his internment by the German occupying government during the Second World War. The set contains the title page and nine scenes with various intertitles (L'arrivée des bleus, L'habillement, La chambrée, La corvée, L'exercice, La visite , La salle de police, Le service en campagne, La sortie du dimanche). - Only a few places with tears, creases or stains. - Of the greatest rarity.
