Franz: Hannah, plate no. 22 in Indian ink from the episode "Les Cavaliers de la mort" published by Éditions Dupuis in 1991 and adapted from the famous novel by Paul-Loup Sulitzer: Warsaw, 1890. The story was inspired by the life of Helena Rubinstein, the queen of cosmetics. Franz's very deep inking makes him one of the best artists of the Belgian realist school (3.5 cm tear at the bottom, not including the drawing and small folds). Size: 41.8 x 53.4 cm.
