Denzel ESTIMATE °€ 100 - € 200 STARTING PRICE € 100 No biographical details are known about the illustrator F. Sigl. This drawing was created for the Munich-based magazine "Radfahr-Humor," founded in 1887 by the mechanical engineer and bicycle enthusiast Heinrich Hildebrand. Perhaps the most important illustrator to work for "Radfahr-Humor" was Emil Kneiß (186 -1956). The "Hildebrand & Wolfmüller" motorbike, initiated by Hildebrand and introduced in 1894 (production period 1894-1995), was the world's first mass-produced motorbike. "Radfahr-Humor" was discontinued in 1901. The drawing is from the graphic collection of Friedrich Wilhelm Denzel, Munich. PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights. In the case of normal taxation (marked °), a premium of 24% is added to the highest bid. The mandatory sales tax of 13%, for photographys 20%, is added to the sum of the highest bid and the buyer's premium. The buyer's premium amounts to 28% in case of differential taxation. The sales tax is included in the differential taxation.
