Early baroque lidded tankard. Silver, fully gilt. Slightly domed stand framed by a bar frieze over a flat base. Tall body, eight-facetted. Very finely engraved depictions of various flowers on the centre of the wall, framed by two rows of embossed bosses with ear decoration in the shape of stylised hearts. Domed lid, humped to match the wall, crowned by a volute finial. Narrow volute handle with pearl decoration, ending in a split thumb rest. Minimal rest; mark, inspection mark, master Nicolaus Weiß (becomes master 1613). Weight approx. 375 g. H. 15 cm.
