Early Meissen coffee pot with Hoeroldt chinoiserie pear-shaped body with volute ear handle. Gold-ornamented reserves on both sides of the wall, framed by iron-red and purple-coloured foliage with a lustre background. Depicting Chinese people in an expansive garden landscape, resting with children, sleeping in a hammock or sitting and playing with children and animals. Indian flower branches and insects on the handle and correspondingly on the wall. Fine, polychrome painting with gold decoration by Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt or workshop. Rest; h. 16 cm.
