RIFLE of the type of the Bodyguards of the King 2nd model (1817). Walnut frame, brass fittings, single butt plate return numbered "2C. 156", lock of the royal manufacture of Charleville with bassinet with brass drum, rod out of iron with the model, old shoulder strap out of overstitched buffalo. L: 142 cm, barrel: 102.5 cm. BE Although the model conforms to the regulation dimensions and has an attribution number on the back of the butt plate, it does not have a thumb piece with the arms of France. This type of rifle was used by the National Guard.
