Rifle Lebel France model 1886 rifle, calibre 8x50R, was adopted by the French army in May 1887 to replace the Gras model 1874 rifle, almost certainly a dig find, provenance unknown... but widely used in French colonial expeditions, the Boxer Rebellion, the Monegasque Revolution, the First World War, the Rif War, the Soviet-Polish War, the Spanish Civil War, the Second World War, the Indochina War and the Algerian War, overall length 130 cm, very poor condition.
