GAETANI, Caesar (1712-1773). Pescagioni. Syracuse: Pulejo, 1797.

The volume concludes with an essay by Giuseppe Logoteta on the use of fish in antiquity and a curious promotional manifesto for an unpublished treatise on Sicilian fishing laws. The author, Cesare Gaetani, a passionate fisherman, also includes his own translations from the Greek of Moschus and Anacreon on related themes.
