One of 980 copies numbered in Arabic. - The embroidered half vellum binding was modelled on the manuscript Ms. lat. 4777 from the Bibliothèque nationale de France. - Gaston Phoebus, a French count, wrote the Book of the Hunt at the end of the 14th century and describes various aspects of hunting. - A very beautifully preserved copy. 3 vols.
