GAULE - CELTIC Bituriges Cubes. Drachma with rider and hand, class II ND (late 2nd - early 1st century BC). Head to right, hair composed of a row of Aquitanian locks framing the face and the rest in a sort of bun behind, with a double collar; a four-petalled flower on the cheek. Rv. Rider right, carrying shield; under horse, hand with thumb protruding. LT.4439 - DT.3341; Silver - 3.49 g - 15 mm - 12 h The strike is slightly off-centre on the right. Small spot of green corrosion on the reverse. With a grey patina. Almost Superb.
