GAULE - CELTIC Osismes. Quarter statère "with boar" (?) and horse to right ND (80-50 BC). Head right, hair in thick strands, surrounded by beaded cords wrapped around and ending with small heads. Rv. Androcephalous horse bridled, galloping right; above, remains of the charioteer's head at the end of a beaded cord and a small four-rayed beaded wheel; between the legs, a wild boar (?). LT.6543 v. - DT.2208 v. or 2239 v. - Abolivier var. 2 ; Electrum - 1.14 g - 13 mm - 5 h From the sale on Offers iNumis 49, 6 October 2020, n° 65. On a slightly oblong electrum blank, with a slight weakness on the right. On the reverse, what appears to be the point of a boar under the horse? With a pinkish colour. Rare. TTB.
