GAULE - CELTIC Parisii. Quarter statere, class II ND (1st century BC). Av. Profile right, with simplified hair made of curved lines curled at the ends, with a bun and crescent-shaped locks. Rv. Leaping horse on left, with beaded mane; above, simulacrum of charioteer represented by a crosier on the rump and a reticulated ornament (fillet); below, beaded rosette. DT.80 - Sills.491 (class 4) ; Gold - 1.77 g - 13 mm - 2 h The reverse, barely off-centre, shows the rear of the horse with all the croup, tail and reticulated fillet, as well as the pearled rosette. Regular wear on the reliefs, with a golden patina. VERY GOOD CONDITION.
