GAULE - CELTIC Petrocores. Drachma, Belvès series, with torque, wheel and olive ND (2nd-1st c. BC). Head on left, with hair in broad wisps backwards, almond-shaped eye and mouth formed by two dots. Rv. Unbowed cross forming four cantons: a torque in 1, a four-spoked wheel in 2, a vertical axe in 3 and a besant or olive in 4. Savès 228 - Hiriart 20.07 ; Silver - 1.84 g - 13 mm - 1 h Striking on a small blank, centred on the right and slightly offset on the reverse. Slight rubbing on the cheek. With a grey patina. VERY GOOD.
