GAULE - CELTIC Venetes or Riedons. Silver quarter-statue with ND boar (1st century BC). Head right, with large straight nose and curly hair; in front, a large double finial in the shape of a bow. Rv. Androcephalous horse to the left surmounted by a charioteer; below, a boar with sign to the left. LT.- - DT.- - SENA, CN Hors-série 2, p.49 n° 23 - CGB live déc. 2023 n° 189 ; Silver - 1,64 g - 13 mm - 12 h From the collection of André Libaud, collector of Armorican coins. Extremely rare quarter statere in silver, in a very particular style, for the Riedones or Vénètes. Excellent centering, flan and strike. Superb at Fleur de coin.
