[Marie-Agnès, his sister] tells me that our poor dear Marie-Lucie died on 16 March. Like you, I am deeply moved. M.A. herself is extremely saddened. You keep asking me for news. Once again, I will tell you that it is excellent. But I would like to be sure that you, my dear little Mum and Dad, are well despite this harsh winter and all your worries.
