Set of three remarkable documents highlighting Charles de Gaulle's thinking and strategy. "I enclose : 1. A note and a draft text of a decree relating to the organisation of a Ministry of National Defence. 2. A note on the direction that should be given to our armaments effort. I hope to be able to go to Paris on Saturday 18th and, if so, I will not fail to take your instructions by telephone. Slight tear to paper clip and tiny creases to letter.
