Diplôme de Bachelier de l'Enseignement secondaire, awarded to Charles de Gaulle following the certificate of aptitude obtained on 3 July 1907, with honours in Latin, Greek, Philosophy and Mathematics; the candidate signed: "Charles de Gaulle".
Attached are 2 report cards (in-8) for the student "de Gaulle Charles" for November and December 1908, at the Collège Stanislas, in the "Classe de St Cyr" (4 p. in-8 each, partly printed). On the December report card, headmaster A. Pautonnier commented: "Charles is an excellent pupil, but he is becoming a bit talkative, and if he continues, he will lose time. This would be unfortunate, because if he wants to, he can succeed brilliantly".
