Georges VAN DE VOORDE (1878-1964). Study of abundance. Terracotta proof. This appears to be a preparatory study for the subject on the left of the monumental group that decorated the main façade of the Brussels 1910 exhibition. A photograph from the family archives shows a strong resemblance (see photo). Height: 19 cm. Provenance: Artist's studio. Collection of the Vandevoorde family since the mid-1960s (the spelling of the surname has no space in the civil registry). We enclose a certificate of authenticity and provenance signed by Mr and Mrs Vandevoorde, the artist's grandchildren.
