Georges VAN DE VOORDE (1878-1964). Group with attached figures Sculpture in plaster. A variant of the National Monument erected in Schaerbeek on the Place des Carabiniers in memory of the Patriots shot by the enemy during the wars of 1914-1918 and 1940-1945, which is attributable to the artist. In this print, the central figure is almost identical, while his right and left neighbours differ from the Schaerbeek statue. Height: 26.5 cm. Provenance: Artist's studio. Collection of the Vandevoorde family since the mid-1960s (the spelling of the surname is not spelled in the civil register). We enclose a certificate of authenticity and provenance signed by Mr and Mrs Vandevoorde, the artist's grandchildren.
