HISTORY :
Around 1930, Madame X asked Jean Dunand and his collaborator Gérard Mille to create the woodwork for the smoking room in her Paris flat. While Hamanaka produced some of the furniture, Gérard Mille chose light oak for the dining room, designed around 1938, to create powerful furniture with generous scrolls.
