In-4, red morocco, triple gilt fillet, ornate spine, inner lace, marbled double endpapers, gilt edges (Gruel). These two collections were widely copied throughout Europe. Some of his models can be found in the plates of the Encyclopédie.
An elegant copy bound by Léon Gruel.
From the Alexis de Redé library, with bookplate.
Upper hinge restored, headbone rubbed, 2 endpapers partially unbound, traces of a bookplate removed.
