This collection was compiled by Comad Gessner. On pages 393-408, Gessner presents a list of 150 authors of medical literature in short bio-bibliographical notes. The work contains 150 woodcut illustrations: anatomical figures, surgical scenes, instruments, as well as a large number of initials illustrating medical subjects. Handwritten bookplate dated 1606 on the title; Docteur François Moutier. The copy is in very good condition, with no foxing or wetness.
