GIAMBATTISTA TIEPOLO (Venice, 1696 - Madrid, 1770) Puttino with decorative elements Oil on canvas, 26.5X32.5 cm Provenance: Milan, private collection The painting's pictorial quality and spontaneity suggest its attribution to Giambattista Tiepolo and its former belonging to a decorative cycle, similar to the putti published by Filippo Pedrocco (cf. F. Pedrocco, 200). These works were compared by Morassi with a canvas depicting the four putti in flight with grapes, conserved in the Hermitage.
