Second edition of the Disegni diversi, the most famous collection of Baroque Italian goldsmiths by Giovanni Giardini, papal goldsmith. It contains 2 printed titles and 100 engraved plates of religious and secular silverware. "The leading goldsmith of the late baroque era (...), an exceptionally interesting figure" (A. Gonzalez-Palacios, Burlington Magazine, 1995). He exerted a considerable influence on artists and craftsmen throughout most of the eighteenth century.
