Embroidered waistcoat, mid-18th century, a cream satin peplum waistcoat embroidered in old rose chenille thread, decorated with a pattern of small flowers across the centre and a garland of foliage around the edge. Attached buttons (some loose threads, slight soiling). We are including a second waistcoat for reference purposes (with a tapered front).
