Brocade waistcoat, late 18th century, Straight waistcoat in droguet fashioned from silk, thread and gold blade decorated with bouquets on a diamond pattern. Crossed fastening with two staggered rows of buttonholes and eyelets designed to hold a set of buttons. Linen lining and back (slight wear, back narrowed by a central fold).
