Country warden's sword. Bronze handle, hilt with two bolted quillons. Blade with double hollow edge, marked "Coulaux & C - Klingenthal". Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Ribbed sting. Fairly good condition. Circa 1860. Length: 69 cm. With leather shoulder strap and cast bronze "Garde champêtre à l'aigle impériale" plaque. Fairly good condition. Provenance: Collection of Mr F. EXPERT: Arnaud DE GOUVION SAINT-CYR.
