GLOGAU Jan z Glogowa (1445-1507). Introductorium Astronomie in Ephemerides...commune[m] studentu[m] in arte stellaru[m] et studio Astronomie psicere cupientiu[m]. Krakow: Ungler, Lern, 1514
Two scarce works that have never been auctioned (RBH) by the astronomer Jan of Glogów, lecturer at the University of Kraków and probably one of Nicolaus Copernicus' professors. The Introductorium Astronomie in Ephemerides is an introductory work guiding students in the use of astronomical plates to understand celestial motions, while the unfortunately incomplete Tractatus Preclarissimus in Judicijs Astrorum deals with the influence of the stars on terrestrial phenomena.

Woodcut title page, astronomical diagrams in the text, engraved initials (text leaf H5 and colophon missing, woodworm hole running through the text and affecting a few letters on the last leaves).
