GNATHIAN KYLIX DEPICTING OFFERING VESSEL
Ca. 350 - 300 BC. A kylix with a shallow body seated on a discoidal foot and completed with two horizontal handles. The main decoration depicts a central medallion with an oinochoe in white pigment surrounded by an intricate vine and grapes motif under the rim. Size: 55mm x 180mm; Weight: 130g. Provenance: Property of a central London gallery, previously acquired on the Dutch art market; previously acquired on the Belgium art market; Daniel Bogaerts, Brussels, 1995.
