GNATHIAN OINOCHOE WITH GRAPES AND PHYTOMORPHIC MOTIFS Ca. 325 - 300 BC. A wheel-thrown terracotta oinochoe covered in a black gloss slip, with a trefoil mouth and a single handle arching from the shoulder to the rim. The neck is decorated with bands of white tongue motifs, followed by a band of linear and dotted patterns. Below this runs a frieze of vine tendrils, followed by a thick red line, and at the bottom a continuous frieze of stylised grape clusters and vine tendrils in added white and yellow.
