GNATHIAN SKYPHOS WITH VINE TENDRILS Ca. 350 - 300 BC. A black-glazed skyphos with a rounded body on a short ring foot and two horizontal handles extending from the rim. Both sides are decorated with a continuous frieze of applied white vine tendrils with heart-shaped leaves and dotted clusters. For similar see: The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Object Number: 81.52.
