GNATHIAN SQUAT LEKYTHOS WITH BIRD Ca. 325 - 300 BC.
A squat lekythos with a domed body, narrow neck, and wide disc rim. The black-glazed surface is decorated in added white and yellow with a frieze showing a bird standing on a scrolling tendril between volutes, beneath a field of dots. A band of tongues adorns the shoulder.
