Originally from French Algeria, the young poet had taken up poetry after his studies at the Lycée Henri IV. ☞ One of 10 on Hollande laid paper (No. 4). - Long, handsome letter to Gilbert de Voisins covering the entire title page: "I will never forget that you were the first voice to shout to me: Courage! Attached, bound page 36: LAS to Gilbert de Voisins to congratulate him on the "Bar de la Fourche" and on his forthcoming departure for Algiers. 4 pp. in-12. It was Gilbert de Voisins who asked the bookbinder for this coquetry since his initials appear on the spine, as is very often the case in his library. Rubbing to the spine. Ex-libris CT.
