LARGE YATAGAN KNIFE The slightly curved yatagan blade is decorated with arabesques. The handle is in the shape of a pistol grip with silver leaf and scroll embossing. The wooden scabbard is partly covered with silver leaf also decorated with repoussé and ochre velvet. Ottoman Empire, 19th century.
