LARGE AND ORIGINAL KAZAK RUG (South Caucasus, circa 1975-1980) Beige gilded field with original decoration of crenellated arrows, hooks, insects and starry flowers adorned with a large central octagonal ruby red medallion with geometrically stylised tarantulas and flowers. The main border is brick with a semiset of crabs and stylised tarantulas. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Good condition. Beautiful polychromy. Dimensions. 320 x 220 cm
