Large rimfire revolver. Made by John Harold Dundalk, as evidenced by the marking on the barrel frame. Side of frame marked "London". Single and double action mechanism. Loading door swings back. Extractor operated by an eccentric arm on the right side of the barrel. Octagonal barrel rifled and shot in the mass of the carcass. Smooth barrel, calibre 440RF for thick-barrelled cartridges. Checkered walnut stock. The gun has turned tobacco grey. Overall length: 280 mm. Weapon of category D. Condition 1-.
