in gilt bronze inlaid with turquoise and carnelian cabochons, depicting Ekadashamukha Avalokiteshvara, in a form known as "11 heads and 1,000 arms", dressed in deerskin, standing on a double-row lotiform base. The faces symbolise the 11 types of observation and compassion towards existence. These are surmounted by the reminiscence of Amithaba. In her hands, the deity holds a lotus "padma", a rosary "mala", a wheel "chakra", an arrow "sara" and a bow "capa", as well as the vase containing the lustral water "kundika". The other hands are decorated with eyes.
