LARGE AUBUSSON RUG IN THE TASTE OF THE 18th CENTURY A pinkish-beige field decorated with sprigs of flowers framed by a large central oval medallion inlaid with bouquets of flowers and foliage in pastel tones. Four spandrels with sprays of flowers. Three borders, the main beige one with interlacing twisted crenellated branches inlaid with flowering palmettes. Needlework, wool yarns on cotton canvas.
