The King standing frontally in a nave, holding a raised sword and a shield. Rv. + IhC: AVTEM: TRANSIENS: PER: MEDIV: ILLORVM: IBAT. Cross foliate and fleur-de-lys cantonned with four crowned leopards within an octolobe cantonned with four shamrocks; (different) in the heart of the cross. S.1502 - Fr.92; Gold - 7.60 g - 34 mm - 6 h From a Jean Vinchon Numismatique sale, 14 and 15 November 1981, No. 508 (S.1516). NGC AT 55 (8524351-026). Fairly large flan, with a few small marks on the edge. Beautiful golden patina. TTB to Superb.
