Conrad Heinrich Küchler was born in Flanders around 1740 and worked in Darmstadt, Mannheim and Frankfurt from around 1760 to 1775, then in France and then in England from 1793, notably for Matthew Boulton at the Soho factory, where he wrote numerous works for many countries including Ireland, Denmark, Germany, Russia and France. He died in Handsworsth in 1810.
