LARGE HEXAGONAL BALUSTER VASE IN BLUE GLAZED PORCELAIN WITH GOLD DECORATION, CHINA, QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY The hexagonal vase rests on a short slightly spreading foot and a tall, stepped neck flaring up to an everted rim, the neck on each side is flanked by a pair of stylized handles. The body presents traces of painted gilded decoration of a palace and columns of inscription.
